WABASH CO., Ill. (WFIE) - The Wabash County Sheriff’s Office has reached an agreement with TextBehind to provide a solution to prevent contraband from entering the Wabash County Jail via non-privileged mail.
According to a press release, TextBehind’s inmate mail management services prevent contraband, mainly narcotics, from entering prisons through the mail room by 100 percent.
Officials say this creates a safer environment for staff and inmates.
They service was scheduled to go live on Monday.
