BENTON COUNTY, Ark. (KNWA/KFTA) — The Benton County Jail is moving to a virtual letter sending system to help with stopping contraband from entering the jail.
The jail is partnering with TextBehind to bring its inmate mail management services to the help with preventing contraband, such as drugs, entering the jail via non-privileged mail. The company’s services include an online website application and free-to-download mobile apps that allow family and friends of inmates to send texts, photographs, documents, greeting cards and kids’ drawings.
