Personal Information and Communications Data:
- Your personal information and data (messages and photos) are encrypted AT REST and during TRANSMISSION to and from the TextBehind system.
- The correctional institution's officer(s) are required and authorized by law to perform a review of communications data sent to the incarcerated individuals according to the applicable rules and regulations.
- The TextBehind customer support staff may need to access your Transaction Log when it is necessary while assisting you with your questions, order status, or other support requests that you may submit.
Financial Information Security:
TextBehind does not store any usable financial information in our system, ever.
When you enter the credit card information, it is entered directly on a bank-provided form on an industry-standard encrypted layer (using an SSL Certificate). The last 4-digit of the credit card used that you see on your account is only a token identifier is shown because it is necessary for you to identify the payment method used, and for us to maintain the integrity of transactions log data in a database for reference.
When you submit a transaction using TextBehind, we use a "Smart Tokenization" technology that does not transmit or receive actual financial information from the bank. It is an encrypted set of instructions for the bank to process a payment for your order.
